How to install Locus Classic
Locus Classic was unpublished on Google Play for new users at the beginning of 2026. But it is still available for installation for the current users:
- at Google Play
- at the public repository of the app's developers
Google Play
Locus Classic can't be found on Google Play through the app search. It is only available for its current users at a direct link:
- The direct link is only available when you are logged in to Google Play with the account you used when you purchased Locus Classic (or Pro).
- The app version available on Google Play is the last approved by Google - 3.70.17. If you need updates, you have to download the app from the public repository of the producer.
Public repository
The public repository of Asamm Software (developers of Locus Map and Classic) is available at
It is stored at Google Drive and offers APK files for both Locus Classic and Locus Map, including an archive of older versions. If you need to install Locus Classic, select the Locus Classic folder:

Each folder contains three versions of the app:
- ClassicAmazon - for apps originally purchased on the Amazon App Store
- ClassicGooglePlay - for apps originally purchased on Google Play
- ClassicGooglePlayAfa - for apps originally purchased on Google Play, with additional all-files-access permission restricted by Google after launching Android 11.
